Specialised Disability Accommodation (SDA)

Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) is a type of housing provided to individuals who have significant difficulties and impairments that require high levels of support and assistance. These participants may need overnight assistance from their SDA provider, which is paid for through their National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) plan. Only a small percentage of participants, no more than 6%, require this level of support. The SDA plan is tailored to the specific needs, location, and accessibility requirements of each individual.
